A nourishing and relaxing space for you to unwind and have time for yourself. Look after your body and your mind. Yoga can have so many benefits for your health and wellbeing. It can become a constant steady line through the ups & downs of life and help you to create a personalised toolkit to support your health - that works! Have the time and space to explore how the practice can work for you in your life and what self-care really looks like for you. Learn the fundamentals of Yoga to make the practice work for you and your body. Whether you want to: -Build core strength -Improve flexibility and movement -Release tension and tightness -Reduce stress and anxiety -Learn ways to really rest and relax -Feel calmer and more confident As part of the course you will learn: -Poses and sequences incorporating Vinyasa, Yin & Restorative Yoga -Modifications for all poses -Mindfulness and Meditation techniques -Breathing techniques -Key aspects of Yoga as a whole practice on and off the mat 6 Week Programme Week 1 - Flow What is Flow? And how can this help us in our lives? Week 2 - Breath Awareness of breath and synchronising breath with movement. Week 3 - Drishti Meaning ‘gaze’ and one of the most powerful tools you can create as a yogi. Week 4 - Yin and Restorative The power and importance of rest and the benefits of holding poses for longer. Week 5 - 8 Limbs Learn about a yoga practice off the mat and how movement through yoga can be an important way to regulate our nervous system and prepare our bodies for meditation/deep rest. Week 6 - Chakras An introduction to chakras and energy blocks. OPTION TO JOIN ONLINE OR HAVE THE RECORDING OF THE CLASS
